Indeed it is a joyful occasion for all of us: the coming into existence Takshshilaa International School, as a modern education Gurukul, is an epochal occasion for all of us. Significantly, smitten by the gnawing sense of deficiency of a modern English school in the landscape of Sheorinarayan area, has been giving me nightmares, for the children of this area were languishing in English education which is absolutely imperative for getting good jobs in the market, deeply discomfited us. Moreover, the harried parents, helplessly stood strangled by the complete absence of the level playing field for their children, decisively galvanised us into action. Little wonder then, we were driven into action, resulting in the crystallisation of this mighty effort of all of us to see the school coming into existence within the shortest possible time. This, I often wonder, could hardly have been feasible, had divine not smoothen our path, or the myriad stakeholders who joined us in sharing our dream to build up a modern institute which will resemble the best of infrastructure and faculty anywhere in the country. However, notwithstanding the fact that we are barely three years old, we are moving in a right direction with the sense of coperative partnership with all our various stakeholders.

Whereas, we have traversed some distance with a firm footings, navigating confidently with the volatility of times and vicissitudes of fortune, we have only become richer by experience; we have only dissected in clearer terms the expectations of our children, parents, our school staff, and our own ability to fulfill them. Thus we seek the greater participation of parents in their role of parenting so that we too can gear ourselves to matching their aspirations. In short, we can only say that as we grow, we learn. There is no space for complacency in our collective endeavour to build up an institution of excellence. Hence, we seek the complete dedication of our teaching and non- teaching community to collectively persevere to take Takshshilaa to a new height, where it will script its own success story for others to follow in its glorious footsteps.

Greetings! While I begin to pen this write ups, I feel highly exuberant and immeasurably estatic, for the crystallisation of our noble vision in form of Takshshilaa International School, invariably and inevitably gives us the cause for cheers; the gorgeous dream we had collectively dreamed to have a a school with all its associated trappings of modernity, to expose the children of our rural landscape to the best of modern education system, was indeed a daunting challenge which tested our collective resolve in no ambiguous terms. However, with the benefits of hindsight, the task accomplished, especially with the challenges it threw upon us, in myriad ways; the avalanche of obstacles we confronted on the path of actualising our vision, with the reminiscence of sweet and bitter experiences, gives us the cause for celebration: we have successfully brought the best of education on the doors of our own people who, while they too were fascinated by the children of metropolises, cities and towns, basking in the glory of anglicised wisdom engendered by the institutionalised English medium schools, they woefully resented the complete vacuity of such english medium schools in their own area. Unequivocally, the parents of Sheorinarayan, gloated over the growing asymmetry between their own children vis - a- vis their counterparts of metropolises, cities and towns. Now, as Takshshilaa International School, nothing short of an oasis, in this rural hinterland, has come as a harbinger for a new dawn for the children of this area of Sheorinarayan and suburb. Hence, we sincerely believe that Takshshilaa is the beacon of new hope for the people of this area who no longer will grudge their own children languishing on the periphery of educational pyramid; they in fact, can rub shoulders with the best of talents in metropolises, cities and towns. Thus we believe that this is the genuine cause of celebration for all of us.

Significantly, Takshshilaa International School believes in taking all its stakeholders along with it. Hence in this context, the cooperative partnership of parents, teachers, students, staff members and the society, constitutes the building block for the growth and progress of our school. Hence against the backdrop of fostering harmonious relations among all its stakeholders, Takshshilaa family shall continue to endeavour to cultivate a congenial environment for the growth of our children whose holistic development remains the exclusive cause of concern for us. In short, in this historic journey of shared camaraderie relationship to build up an institution of excellence, we continue to seek the valued partnership of all our stakeholders, so as to make Takshshilaa International School as a heaven for education.

Dear Students,

Indeed it is a matter of pleasure as well as a privilege to communicate with you all. We all are a part of Takshshilaa family. It becomes incumbent here for me to discuss with you the historic significance of the very name of our school: Takshshilaa. You all know about the famous Chanakya, the man behind the rise of Mauryan dynasty. In fact, the great Chanakya had his origin from Takshshilaa, which was also famous for locating a world class university, a place of excellence. No wonder, the ancient glory of Takshshilaa University, an institution of excellence, is sought to be resurrected in this twenty first century India: Takshshilaa International School. And we all are proud of being the members of this Takshshilaa family. However, as all of you would appreciate, that the pride has its own cost; in fact, the pride comes with a tag attached: we all have to endeavour to reach the pedestal of glory in our respective fields. We have to ensure that all of us together in this journey of recreating history, have the shared responsibility to perform our respective task in an honest and transparent ways.

Dear students, an adage goes in this way: a journey of thousand miles begins with the single step. In fact, we have taken some steps, yet many more are yet to be taken. We cannot afford to sleep till we have reached our goals. We have to perform, in order to excel, for success in life comes only with hard work. Hence against the backdrop, we are striving to cultivate a congenial environment, where the teachers play the role of friends, guides and philosophers to you; where you too have to cooperate with teachers, do your regular homeworks, converse only in English in the school--with teachers as well as your classmates. We are building up an anglicised environment and therefore you have to cooperate with our teachers in attaining this objective. Our vision and mission is to ensure that our students grab the best of careers like Civil Services, doctors, engineers, lawyers, journalism, teaching profession etc. All the aforesaid careers are attainable under the holistic guidance of our teachers. Hence, I call upon all of you--our beloved students, our future brand ambassadors to gear up for this daunting challenge in life.

Last but not the least, I can only quote the immortal stanzas of Robert Frost, ' Miles to go before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep!' You all have the bright careers staring at you, just stand up, run fast and achieve your goal. I assure you that Takshshilaa family will never let you down; it will continue to guide you throughout your life's journey. May god bless all of you, our beloved students.
